Smart WFM Digital Workforce 2nd Edition
The Digital Workforce 2nd Edition

This book is a must-read for every senior leader and project owner for the digital workforce journey in HR, HCM or workforce management.

In the successful digital workforce, people – in partnership with algorithms – will be at the heart of every decision made over the next few years, which Jarrod addresses in this book.

Businesses around the world can use the real-world examples, anecdotes, stories, methods and powerful expert interviews to enable successful digital transformation. And the insightful interviews led Jarrod to a compelling final chapter on the future, based on real-life evidence that he collected throughout the process. The interviews contain gold for all people and business leaders.

Importantly, this book also enables you to take responsibility for your own destiny in a modern world where many businesses are struggling to keep up with rapid change.

What Leaders are Saying about The Digital Workforce

Remarkable people are at the heart of every organisation. Magical things happen when people are inspired. The Digital Workforce shines a spotlight on how to fully embrace people by leveraging technology.
Aron Ain
CEO of UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group)
Jarrod is always looking for what is next, what can I improve, how can I help organisations and leaders improve. This book really illustrates Jarrod’s quest for knowledge coupled with making organisations thrive.
Georgina Poulos
Global Director People T2 and Global Retail Operations at Unilever

I have absolutely no doubt that Jarrod McGrath is one of the global leaders in the space of workforce management. His book The Digital Workforce is a vital read for leaders of any organisation, but particularly those coming to terms with having a digital workforce. Contemporary, thought provoking and absolutely essential reading in every way.

Andrew Griffiths
International bestselling Author, Global Speaker and Entrepreneurial Futurist

Before I met Jarrod McGrath, I had only a very limited understanding of the term “workforce management”. Since getting to know Jarrod and reading his book, I’ve realised that, done correctly, workforce management is an integral part of human capital management and touches just about every part of a business. The Digital Workforce is a must-read for anyone in business who seeks to truly understand the inter-relatedness of workforce management, the rise of the digital workforce and the evolution of this important field.

Cian McLoughlin
CEO and Founder at Trinity Perspectives

I commend Jarrod on his journey to keep the workforce current with the demands mandated by digital transformation. Congratulations on the second edition of the book with practical insights on how business can change their operating models in a human-centred way to incorporate people, algorithms and the broader environment.

Matt Michalewicz
Managing Director, Complexica

Jarrod makes it so obvious every business needs to focus on a digital workforce strategy to really succeed. For me, the real-world examples make it real and useful.

Kim Benito
General Manager, Client Services, NTT DATA Business Solutions Australia

At a time when industrial relations practices are being rewritten not only due to the digital transformation of workforces, but also due to the exposure of unacceptable behaviour such as wage theft and discrimination, Jarrod offers very timely insights and methodologies to ensure the workplace is a positive and profitable environment.
