Superpower
Having spent my whole career working in Human Resources across many industries (up until I moved to Smart WFM!), it’s the type of profession where you spend a lot of time working ‘under the hood’ of organizations. I think my ability to translate those experiences gained over 20 years and to understand the perspective of our customers is my Superpower. I’m also super passionate about my job and the work we do at Smart WFM, so that helps too!
About
I grew up in Melbourne. My husband and I spent about 7 years working and traveling overseas together, in Japan, Ireland and Hong Kong. Our son was born in Hong Kong and our daughter was born 2 years later, back in Melbourne. We have a beautiful, lazy black labrador at home and a skittish white cat. When I’m not working, I love spending time with family and friends.
Professional details
My roles over the years in HR have been many and varied. My first corporate role was working in Recruitment at AAMI Insurance. AAMI was in the process of implementing PageUp, and I took a shine to it. I became the Superuser and ultimately ended up moving to Coles Group, where I was the national Recruitment Systems Administrator. Coles was way ahead of it’s time in this space – it was amazing to be part of it. My partner and I got the travel bug though and I ended working in HR for Allianz Insurance in Dublin for a few years and then at Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong. After moving back to Australia, I established the HR function at a bulk fuel storage company – ATOM - (jointly owned by BP and UGL) and afterwards moved to Ambulance Victoria as an HR Project Manager. It was while I was working on a project at Ambulance Vic that I met some of the Smart WFM Consultants and the rest is history, as they say! My role at Smart WFM is to partner with our customers, to understand not only their immediate needs but also their long-term strategic objectives and to ensure we are delivering WFM and HCM solutions that meet their unique needs.
